The Green Canary 14" Custom Snare Drum
This 7x14” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from Canarywood. This exotic wood has a hardness similar to hard maple, but has a much more complex grain structure and appearance. I added an aqua dye to the exterior, which, when combined with the natural yellows and light greens of the Canarywood, created a beautiful green shell. I topped it off with a crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum snaps, crackles, and pops, and is a gorgeous addition to any drum kit. This drum has:
offset 45 degree bearing edges.
a 0.65” thick stave shell
black nickel triple flanged hoops, black nickel lugs, black nickel tension rods
brass 24 strand Puresound Custom Pro snare wires
a black nickel INde throw off and butt plate
