The Blue Louisiana Sinker Cypress II Custom Stave Snare Drum
This 7x14” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from 0.6 inch thick 100% Louisiana Sinker Cypress staves. Cypress is a soft wood, and this Sinker Cypress came from the bayous not far from Seven Six Drum Co’s headquarters. After staining it blue, I topped it off with a crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum has a huge tuning range and is a beautiful example of Sinker Cypress.
