Redeemed Rust 7x14 Zebrawood Custom Snare Drum
This 7x14 Zebrawood stave snare’s shell is about 3/8” thick with .75” thick reinforcing reings milled directly into the shell for grain continuity. I topped it off with a custom color created for jazz drummer Geoff Clapp and 9 coats of crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum has chrome die-cast hoops and tension rods, chrome low mass lugs, Puresound 30 strand snare wires, a Dunnett R4 chrome throw off and butt plate, and Evans heads. This one sounds warm and vintage and can also be tuned to voice an intense crack. This one is sold, but I can build one just like it or customize it to your liking.
