The Bubinga Art Custom Snare Drum
This 6.5x14” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from 4/5ths inch thick African Bubinga wood. I topped it off with a crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum has 6 ply wood hoops - the inner and outer plies are African Bubinga, and the 2nd, 4th and 5th plies are Zebrawood. There’s also a Zebrawood inlay on the outer portion of both shaped hoops. I used 100% brass handmade lugs custom built for Seven Six Drums by Champagne Drums in Canada. This custom snare drum has brass tension rods, brass Puresound 24 strand snare wires, a brass INde throw off and butt plate, and Evans and Remo heads. This custom snare drum has a huge tuning range and is obviously a beautiful specimen.
