This 6.25x14” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from 100% Curly Birdseye maple staves. Birdseye Maple is a medium hardness wood that is very versatile. The wood has some beautiful chatoyance. I stained the shell lemon yellow and then I topped it off with a crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat.
