Mighty Red Oak

This is a 7x14 100% Red Oak stave snare with a shell that is about 2/3rds of an inch thick. It has roundover to 30 degree bearing edges, dual point single ended black nickel lugs and tension rods, black nickel 3mm triple flanged hoops, a Trick black throw off, Puresound Custom Pro brass 20 strand snare wires, a Remo Coated Controlled Sound reverse white dot batter head and Evans 300 snare side head. It’s finished in incredibly durable and crystal clear gloss polyester clear coat on the exterior and finishing oil on the interior.
Its CRACK fantastic with a low end that’s undeniable. Due to its shallow bearing edges, the wood really plays a big part in the fundamental tone of this drum. It’s super sensitive and can be played in low volume situations, but due the super thick oak shell, this thing cuts through. Seven Six Drum Company’s serial #009
