This was a custom build for a dear friend. I can create this drum for you, or customize it to your liking
This 6x14 100% purpleheart shell is about 3/5” thick. I topped it off with 9 coats of crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum has black nickel triple flanged hoops and tension rods, brass custom made low mass single contact point lugs from Champagne Drum in Canada, Puresound Custom Pro snare wires, a DW black nickel throw off and DFD butt plate, and Remo and Evans heads. As usual with a stave drum this size, it has a fantastic crack and looks sexy, too. This one is sold, but I can make a similar drum if you’re into it.
