The Weathered Purple White Oak (WPWO) Custom Snare Drum
This 7x13” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from Quarter Sawn White Oak. This unusual wood has a hardness similar to hard maple, but has a much more complex grain structure and appearance, due to its white medullary rays. I added a weathered purple dye to the exterior. I topped it off with a crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum snaps, crackles, and pops, and is a gorgeous addition to any drum kit. This drum has:
offset 45 degree bearing edges.

black nickel triple flanged hoops, chrome dual point lugs, black nickel tension rods
brass 24 strand Puresound Custom Pro snare wires
a black Trick throw off and butt plate
