Striped Jatoba and Purpleheart
This 7x13 purpleheart and jatoba stave snare’s shell is about 3/5” thick. I topped it off with 9 coats of crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum has chrome die-cast hoops and tension rods, chrome low mass lugs, Puresound Custom Pro snare wires, a DW chrome throw off and FIVE POSITION butt plate, and Remo and Evans heads. As usual with a stave drum this size, it has a fantastic crack and looks sexy, too. The drum in these photos is sold, but I can create another just like it or customize it to your liking.
