Seven Six Drum Company’s first piccolo is a 2/3” thick 4x14” 100% Purpleheart 20-stave shell with gold leaf flecks in the grain and 10 coats of pricey, glassy, glossy, durable polyester clear coat with offset 45 degree bearing edges, custom-made Champagne Drum Company clear coated brass lugs and brass tension rods, hard American 20 ply maple hoops with 6 coats of protective and durable gloss finishing oil, a piccolo gold throw off, Puresound Custom Pro brass 24 strand snare wires, gold tension rods, a Remo Coated Controlled Sound reverse white dot batter head and Evans 300 snare side head. This drum MUST be heard! Its CRACK is so gorgeous and unique.
It’s super sensitive and can be played in low volume situations, but due to the higher fundamental tone of the super thick hardwood shell, this thing cuts through and shows its power! This one is sold, but I can build another just like it or customize it to your liking.
